Bauer Consulting Associates has been in operation for the past twelve years. Diane Bauer and Alan Bauer are principals, each bringing significant expertise in the area of information technology, business systems analysis and non-profit/association management. Clients have included state bar associations, travel companies, conference planning firms, benefits providers, insurance companies, educational institutions and financial services firms.
Diane Bauer has twenty years of experience as a business systems consultant commencing with her work at Coopers & Lybrand planning and implementing systems development methodology and training for clients. She has implemented projects based on Summit/S3 and FSDM methodology to support business systems requirements, design and implementation of new and integrated business systems. These systems have been implemented in manufacturing, materials management, insurance, benefits, travel and financial services industries. Diane has significant experience as a senior administrator in Higher Education for the State of Connecticut and Middlesex College implementing new programs and facilities designs.
Diane has completed the Executive Education Program at the University of Michigan. She holds graduate degrees in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and in Educational Communications from Fairfield University. She earned her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University. Diane has served as President on the Board of Directors of the Andover School of Montessori for eight years.
Alan Bauer has over twenty years of experience in Information Technology Management Consulting and client Relationship Management. Alan earned his Masters Degree in Computer sciences from the University of Buffalo and Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Syracuse University.
Alan has significant accomplishments in managing Information Technology practices including hands-on experience in the implementation of large systems development projects, Information Systems Department evaluations, software and hardware specifications and evaluations.
